PLDT DSL iPhone 6S Promo: The catch most of us didn’t know

THE PLAN:

Being a Filipino would mean getting your hands on every promo you’d deem cheap and beneficial (not to mention something that you could get away with, CLEAN! LoL).In the sense of using my phone for work and stumbling on this promo, I’ve thought it was fair enough by merely looking at the terms on the website. Yes you’ve read it right, Php1599 monthly, no cashout. This would now be the perfect time to upgrade my mobile unit, or maybe I was just being foolish.

So there I was calling PLDT Products and Services, availing the oh so tempting promo.

THE CATCH:

It turns out that due to multitude of users not paying their monthly, PLDT was compelled to ask for a Php9,600 cash out before they could approve any line applications.

There you go, just sharing what I’ve learned from that pitiful phone call. Fortunately I was able to make it seamless and have the rep believe that the main reason for the call was to activate my NDD. 🙂
